AVON — Vin48 will host the Rose Takeover today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wine importers and distributors from throughout the state will pour their favorite summer rose’s on restaurant’s patio. Over 20 roses will be offered as part of this weeks tasting.

“Although we pour rose year round by the glass at vin48 there is no better time or place than the summer on our patio to enjoy these fresh, vibrant wines. This is a great opportunity to taste through the diversity of rose’s from around the worlds wine making regions,” said Greg Eynon, vin48’s owner.

The highlight of the takeover will be vineyard and winery owners Melinda Kearny and Michele Lorenza Ouellet of Lorenza Wine Co.

Lorenza Wine Co. is produced by the Napa Valley mother-daughter team. Kearney is a marketing and branding consultant to Napa Valley luxury wineries and Oullet is an international model featured in Vogue, Glamour, Food & Wine and Oprah. The idea for Lorenza was sparked by their shared loved for rose.
