Avon’s new street opens Tuesday

AVON, Colorado ” The town of Avon, Colorado will host the grand opening of its new Lake Street Tuesday at noon.

Lake Street, which passes by the Recreation Center, marks the beginning of West Town Center’s redevelopment. The street features meandering sidewalks past Buck Creek, colorful perennial flowers and a variety of trees, pedestrian-friendly crosswalks and allows for better access to the Eagle River and the Westin Riverfront Resort.

Light refreshments will be served.
