AVON — The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is celebrating National Running Day with a special Westin Run with a View 5K on June 3.
Free and open to the public, this 5K walk/run will leave from The Westin Riverfront’s Gondola Plaza at noon.
Join The Westin’s Run Concierge Tamara Donelson and Athletic Club Director Jen Razee on the course, which will go west on the Eagle River bike path, around Nottingham Lake, then back along the bike path to end at The Westin Riverfront.
Along the way, be sure to take in the gorgeous Vail Valley views and look for the “Insta-worthy” photo locations where you can snap a picture and post it on social media for a chance to win a variety of great prizes, including a getaway to The Westin Riverfront. Participants need to “tag” the Westin Riverfront at #westinriverfront to be entered to win.
The Westin Riverfront Executive Committee will select their top five favorite posts and then the entire resort staff will vote for the winners.
The Westin Riverfront encourages all of its associates to participate in the 5K as part of its Mountains of Wellness initiative. Mountains of Wellness is a comprehensive support program which includes quarterly Wellness Trainings with a certified health coach, weekly nutritional tips and healthy recipes and quarterly Wellness Challenges.
