‘Babysitter Basics’ class returns to Eagle

EAGLE, Colorado – The Eagle County Colorado State University Extension office and the Eagle Valley Library District are holding another “Babysitter Basics” training program for youngsters in fifth through eighth grades.

The program will be held on Mondays starting Oct. 26. The last class is Nov. 23. Classes run from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the Eagle Public Library. The cost is $35 for supplies, snacks and a subscription to the monthly “Good Times with Kids” newsletter.

Participants will learn about being a reliable babysitter and learn about child development. The curriculum will also provide participants with useful activities for young children.
