This family entertainment center has changed impressions of what a bowling alley can be, General manager Doug Cahill said.”The Back Bowl mixes bowling fun, great dinning and a sports lounge with HD plasma television viewing that is all wrapped up in a great package,” Cahill said. “People enjoy bowling it’s just fun and everyone can play.”Bowling has the highest participation of any sport in the country, Cahill said. “Most of us remember mom and dad playing on a league or going bowling in our youth,” Cahill said.Since the doors opened it has been a popular place for birthday parties, company retreats, end-of-season parties and wedding parties. The menu at the Bowl More Cafe & Lounge is a far cry from the typical bowling alley fare. You can order a great steak and wash it down with any of the wines from the extensive wine list, or even a bottle of Dom Perignon. Of course, you can still get a hamburger, cheese fries and a beer or soda.Leagues are available almost every day.Their second birthday celebration runs all day Sunday with 2-for-1 bowling and prize drawings for ball, bag, shirts, accessories and a bowling pass for free bowling all summer long.
