Bank makes $12,000 donation to youth programs
EAGLE COUNTY – American National Bank locations in Eagle County, along with the Sturm Family Foundation, today will donate $12,000 to The Youth Foundation. The presentation will finalize the week-long grand opening celebration of the new Avon Banking Center located at 71 Beaver Creek Place. Tonight’s event is at 6 p.m.The Youth Foundation aims to expand educational programs for children from low- to moderate-income households in Eagle and Lake counties, focusing on literacy, technology, recreation and scholarship. “The Youth Foundation, formed in 1997, touches more children’s lives than any other nonprofit youth service organization in Eagle County,” said Susie Davis, the organization’s development director. “The principal goal of the foundation is to provide and support programs that serve the economically disadvantaged youth from pre-school through college.”Tim Lybarger, American National Bank mountain region president, said the company and its owners, Don and Susan Sturm, have donated $29,000 to The Youth Foundation since 2002. “We are fortunate to have the Youth Foundation in Eagle County and proud to be a valuable contributor of the foundation’s success,” Lybarger said.American National Bank is headquartered in Denver, Colorado with over $1.6 Billion in assets and is a member of the Sturm Financial Group.Vail, Colorado
