BEAVER CREEK ” The 20th annual Beaver Creek Art Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday. More than 170 national artists will gather in Beaver Creek to showcase their creations during the two-day fine art exhibition.

Art ranges from functional to decorative, classic to contemporary, whimsical to elegant. Visitors can find paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fused glass and more. All of the work on display is available for purchase and prices will range from $25 to $10,000.

Since its inception, the Beaver Creek Art Festival has welcomed thousands of artists from all across North America. Visitors to this year’s festival have the opportunity to meet artists from California, New York, Maine, Florida and New Mexico as examples. Many of Colorado’s own talented artists are exhibiting in the show as well. Focusing on quality and originality, an independent panel of judges chose the exhibiting artists from more than 1,000 submissions.

Unlike a gallery or museum, this festival offers art enthusiasts the unique opportunity to meet exhibiting artists in person; commission a specific piece; ask questions about techniques; learn the sources of the artist’s inspirations; and purchase fine works of art directly from the artists.

The Beaver Creek Art Festival will take place in Beaver Creek Village from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 5. Admission is free. Guests can enjoy live music, outdoor culinary demonstrations and children’s activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the plaza.
