BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – Daniel Joly, the Belgian master chef at Mirabelle Restaurant, has released his first book, “Not Just Another Cook Book.”

Joly teamed up with Anheuser-Busch and used beer as a key ingredient in many of his new recipes. Besides the new dishes, signature dishes from Mirabelle’s seasonal menu, favorites dishes of Joly’s, round out the book. Joly has been a spokesperson for the Belgian beer Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Abbey of Leffe, an Anheuser-Busch product. He has traveled around the country sharing his recipes and promoting his passion for food, in culinary demonstrations.

Mirabelle Restaurant opened in 1982, and Joly’s work at the restaurant began in 1991. Joly and his wife, Nathalie, who runs the dining room, have owned Mirabelle for 10 years.

“For me, (the cookbook) is about my story as a chef, my experiences, where I have come from, and how I got to the level I am at today. It is a good life, and I look forward to continuing to raise the bar in the fine dining food industry. I feel very blessed to own Mirabelle. It is a terrific space for what we do with food, and it is a unique location at the base of Beaver Creek.”

“Not Just Another Cook Book” is available at Mirabelle, the Bookworm in Edwards and on Amazon.com.
