Beaver Creek galleries host art walk Saturday

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – “Gallery row,” a collection of four galleries in Beaver Creek, will be hosting an art walk on Saturday from 6 p.,. to 8 p.m..
Gallery row is located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village behind the skating rink and directly across the plaza from the Park Hyatt. Each gallery will be serving appetizers from Toscanini, the nearby Italian restaurant. The galleries are:
• By Nature Gallery: An collection of fossils, minerals, and other collectable and decorative items created by nature. Notable items include mammoth tusks, petrified wood tables, meteorites, and fossil fish murals.
• C. Anthony Gallery: A gallery exhibiting an array of classical, impressionistic and modern paintings, bronze sculptures and lithographs. Hosting an opening of colorful paintings by Steve Kaufman, pop artist and former assistant to Andy Warhol. The collection includes paintings of Bode Miller, Billy Kidd and Julie Mancuso.
• J. Cotter Gallery: The gold and silversmith of Vail and Beaver Creek. Features a collection of jewelry and contemporary art.
• Wilderness Wonders by Tony Newlin: Features the nature and wildlife photography of Tony Newlin. All images are printed as giclees and include wildlife and scenics from Colorado and around the world. Subjects include aspen trees, the Colorado Rockies, brown bears, polar bears and eagles.
