Beaver Creek gets 6" of snow

EAGLE COUNTY ” Beaver Creek and Vail mountains are reporting 6 and 4 inches respectively Wednesday morning.

Breckenridge reported 9 inches. Keystone and Arapahoe Basin reported 3 and 2 inches respectively.

All the mountains reported an 18-inch base.

A snow and blowing snow advisory is in effect for Vail until 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Breckenridge Ski Resort reported 9 inches of new snow and Snowmass reported 5.

The National Weather Service said more snow could be on the way for western and southwestern Colorado beginning Friday afternoon, with computer models calling for nearly 2 feet of snow in parts of the High Country by Sunday.
