Beaver Creek hosts antique festival Friday through Sunday
BEAVER CREEK ” Browse and buy antiques and talk with dealers and collectors at the second annual Rocky Mountain Antique Festival in Beaver Creek today, Saturday and Sunday.
Nearly 50 high-end antique vendors from across the country will display antique furniture, artwork, jewelry, linens, rugs, glassware and more. Enjoy live entertainment, culinary demonstrations, food prepared by local chefs and kids’ activities.
“We’re thrilled to welcome a variety of top antique dealers from across the country to Beaver Creek,” said Tony O’Rourke, executive director of the Beaver Creek Resort Company.
Admission to the festival is free and food and beverages will be available for purchase. All activities will take place on Beaver Creek Plaza, unless otherwise noted.
The Beaver Creek Hiking Center will also offer a Nordic Walking fundraiser to benefit breast cancer awareness from 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The walk is open to first-time and experienced Nordic walkers of all ages. Raffle prizes include LEKI Nordic walking poles and more. A $10 minimum donation per person and reservations are required.
To register, call the Hiking Center at 845-5373. Guests in Beaver Creek can also enjoy scenic chairlift rides, mountain biking, guided hiking, a bungee trampoline, a climbing wall, miniature golf and outdoor ice skating.
Free parking is provided at the Bear Lot located along U.S. Highway 6 in Avon.
Complimentary shuttles will transport guests to Beaver Creek Village.
