Beaver Creek hosts fashion show, post-race events

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – This year’s Birds of Prey World Cup race brings more than just the world’s fastest men to Beaver Creek. New this year, head to Beaver Creek Village after the downhill and super-G races on Friday and Saturday, respectively, to continue the celebration.

In partnership with Snow Magazine, Veuve Cliquot and Red Bull, Beaver Creek Resort brings you a winter-themed fashion show and the Discover Beaver Creek Scavenger Hunt with over $1,000 in prizes.

Beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, the party kicks off with drink specials at the ice rink with music from a Red Bull DJ. At 4 p.m. in the plaza, Beaver Creek and Snow Magazine will showcase the hottest brands in both apres ski attire and looks for the slopes.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., don’t miss the Discover Beaver Creek Scavenger Hunt, where you can follow an official clues sheet to various merchants and notable spots as you compete to win one of three $400 prize packages. Also on Saturday, make sure to bring the family for free ice skating from 3-6 p.m. at the Black Family Ice Rink in Beaver Creek Village.

Guests that have a Black Diamond Ball ticket or Birds of Prey VIP credential can visit the Beaver Creek Resort Co. tent at the Birds of Prey venue and show their credential or ticket and receive a VIP credential for the fashion shows on Friday. This VIP credential gets you into the Veuve Clicquot VIP area in the village, in front of J. Scott Jewelers and Avalon, along with the VIP fashion show viewing area, on the west Grand Staircase.
