Beaver Creek offers fall foliage tours

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – Beaver Creek provides three great options to view fall foliage now through Sept. 26 – the new High Mountain Adventure Leaf Tours, weekend scenic lift rides and guided hikes from the Beaver Creek Hiking Center.

High Mountain Adventure two-hour motorized four-by-four vehicle leaf tours are offered on a reservation-only basis Monday through Friday for $38 per person, with a three-person minimum. Weekday tours depart from the base of Centennial Express Lift at 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Standard one- and two-hour weekend tours can be booked at the Summer Adventure Center and depart from Spruce Saddle at the top of the Centennial Express Lift. One-hour weekend tours are available starting at $20 per hour for a tour-only; tour plus a lift ticket is $30. Scenic chairlift rides take place on the weekends through Sept. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The Beaver Creek Hiking Center will be open on the weekends through Sept. 26 and provides a Nordic/ Fitness Walk, Beaver Creek Mountain hikes, guided hikes to Beaver Lake and more. Private hikes also will be available through mid-October. There’s a minimum of two people per hike and reservations should be made 24 hours in advance by calling 970-754-5343.
