Beaver Creek reports 16 inches, Vail gets 13

EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado ” More than a foot of fresh snow fell Sunday night on Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts overnight. Beaver Creek reports 16 inches of new snow, while Vail shows 13 inches new snow.

Vail has a 70 inch mid-mountain base, and Beaver Creek is reporting an 86 inch mid-mountain base. Both resorts show all lifts running and 100 percent of terrain open for riders.

Currently, the temperature is 27 degrees, with light flurries falling in Avon, Beaver Creek. Thge forecast calls for continued flurries throughout Monday, and partly cloudy conditions for the rest of the week.
