Benefit for Beaver Creek Chapel is Wednesday

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – The fifth annual benefit concert “Goin’ to the Chapel … Again” returns to the Chapel at Beaver Creek Wednesday.

The concert features talent direct from Broadway including actress/singer Jodie Langel, who has starred in leading roles in “Les Miserables” and Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “Evita” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

Joining Langel will be Jose Llana, who starred in “Flower Drum Song” with Lea Salonga and also in “The King and I” as well as other Broadway shows.

Langel and Llana will be accompanied by Broadway musical director Kim Steiner, who recently finished a long run as the musical director of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”

The group will perform some of Broadway’s best-loved show tunes as well as some songs from new and upcoming shows. The show will benefit the Chapel at Beaver Creek, the ski resort’s interfaith chapel, which will be undergoing some renovations this fall.
