Best Cheap Date
A date by any other name wouldn’t be nearly as affordable. Cheap Date Night at Eat! in Edwards is an event unto itself. A bottle of wine and a cheese plate will set you back $25, unless you decide to double dip. The offerings change weekly. “The name came from the aspect of having a cheap date, but there are a lot of girlfriends who come in for a girls’ night out,” said Pollyanna Forster, who owns the cheese shop/wine bar (which is connected to next-door Drink!, a wine shop) with Chris Irving.
Tucked inside the Vail Transportation Center, La Cantina manages to put out some of the most consistent Mexican food in the valley. Though they’re usually busy, it’s always possible to find a little nook with your honey and chow down on on a spicy carnitas burrito. For those who want a view while they eat, Blu’s is right on Gore Creek. Certainly the most diverse menu in the Village, there’s everything from Thai curry beef to Gypsy schnitzel. The restaurant serves three meals a day.
