How can you get better than Happy Hour? Try Appy Hour. A few years ago Terra Bistro’s Kevin Nelson had the hair-brained idea to open the Terra bar early, sell almost all of his famous apps from the dinner list for $5 and have drink specials. Egads, it was a hit. For one glorious hour people young and old imbibe, nibble and generally create a buzz of goodwill. Don’t leave without a Terra-tini, which includes ginger juice. Delightful
Happy Hour at The Red Lion includes music, drinks and, let’s just say it, as much friend food as you can manage. Really, nothing fills you up after a hard day of working at play like a seat at the Bridge Street bar. At its core, Main Street Grill is really a neighborhood pub. So it makes sense that Happy Hour ” a treat for locals who’ve toiled all day ” is a much-loved event. Drink specials, $5 nibbles and sassy bartenders make the experience more than worthwhile. Check out the fish tacos with Cajun catfish and slightly spicy remoulade, the massive wings three ways or a po’boy.
