Best Place to Buy Produce
Eagle-Vail Produce Stand
In 1998, the Minturn Market was born. With only a handful of vendors and a bit of entertainment, the first open-air market in the valley set up shop among the Victorian buildings in historic downtown Minturn.
Now, the largest farmer’s market in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, more than 125 vendors sell their wares every Saturday in the outdoor venue.
You can find everything from juicy Colorado peaches and cherries, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic, golden beets, colrabi to okra.
“Everything is Colorado grown, and all of the farmers are from Colorado,” said Nicole Magistro, Minturn’s economic development director. “A lot of chefs shop the Minturn Market for their produce.
You can find a lot of unique things ” you just have to look.”
