Best Place to Mountain Bike
Home to the World Cup, Beaver Creek offers some of the most diverse terrain in Colorado. Beginners can throw their bike on the chairlift, advanced riders can ascend on paved paths or challenging.
Mike Kloser, on of the most accomplished athletes in mountain biking and a pioneer in the sport, recommends taking Alley’s Way from Beaver Creek Village to Arrowhead Village.
“I laid out Alley’s Way,” Kloser said. “I helped in the design and development of the trails. It’s got a lot to offer from all perspectives.
It’s great from beginner to expert terrain, a lot of fun single track and gentle terrain.
“You can get glimpses of the Gore Range, the village of Beaver Creek and the surrounding mountains, and when you get on top you can see the New York Range and some of the peaks.
We just try to keep it rider friendly and a pleasurable experience for our guests.”
