EAGLE — Have you gotten into a rut at work? Are you missing out on connecting with your loved ones and friends? Have you been sweeping concerns under the rug? Are you looking to make some changes to your career or personal life?
Life happens, we get busy and sometimes we forget to focus on some of the most important things in life simply because they do not seem as pressing as other responsibilities. Connection, trust, love and friendships are what we remember over the years. That is why Yeti’s Grind and AB Consulting, a local consulting firm, are presenting Better Together: A Personal Development Group.
In this group, participants will form deep connection with their community, find clarity in personal desires, experience a heightened level of trust and gain tools for successful communication, both at home and at work.
This group is open to everyone in the valley community. Anyone who is slightly interested in making life a little richer is highly encouraged to attend. The group meetings are completely free and include a raffle of two free yoga passes to Yoga Off Broadway at the end of the meeting.
MEETING AT YETI’S GRIND
This month, the meeting is held at Yeti’s Grind in Eagle. Beverages will be available for purchase, and the meeting will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Arrive a few minutes early to grab a beverage of your choice from Tara Picklo, co-owner of Yeti’s Grind. The group concludes at 7:45 p.m. Comfortable, casual attire is recommended. No experience is necessary — come as you are.
Better Together will be facilitated by Amanda Brooke Leavitt, founder of AB Consulting. Leavitt graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, has a master’s degree in anthropology from the University of Michigan and is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Participants will play a key role in facilitating individual growth: The more people participate, share and give of themselves, the more the entire group will benefit. Also, those who show up and refrain from saying a single word, you will still reap considerable benefits. To register or if you have questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 317-506-0290.
The Eagle Valley Land Trust and Eagle River Watershed Council program adds 1% to purchases to fund preservation and conservation.
