EAGLE, Colorado –Break out that bike and pedal over to the bar. Another cruiser pub crawl is scheduled for Saturday in Eagle, Colorado.

“It’s back because people have been asking for another one since the first bike pub crawl in May,” said Doug Cahill, general manager of The Back Bowl, one of the participating “pubs”

One Eagle, a group of town merchants that formed to jump-start local commerce, plans the event for 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday

Riders will cruise from Pazzo’s to the Back Bowl to the Grand Avenue Grill, Brush Creek Saloon and Dusty Boot. Organizers encourage riders to wear costumes and decorate their bikes.

A $5 registration includes a chance to win a special Coors Light cruiser bike. Organizers urge riders to bring cash in the form of small bills for purchases.

For the most part, the pub crawl route will take cyclists along bike paths through town. A special route has been planned to cross U.S. Highway 6 when the crowd leaves The Back Bowl and heads for the Grand Avenue Grill.

Eagle’s first bicycle pub crawl on May 9 attracted 300 bicyclists and raised about $1,500 for One Eagle.
