Bike bent in Eagle bar scuffle

Eagle Valley Enterprise
Eagle, CO Colorado

EAGLE, Colorado –Eagle police were called to a local bar last week on a report of a bar fight and bicycle vandalism.

When the officer arrived, he was greeted by the owner who said he had stop serving patron earlier in the evening but the man kept begging for drinks. Eventually, he was kicked out of the bar, and he started trying to kick down the door. When the owner went out to confront him, the patron threw a punch.

Meanwhile, the patron’s drinking companion became mad about the situation and reportedly went over to a nearby bike locked in a rack and picked it up and slammed it down, bending its rear rim.

The officer issued tickets to both men and left a card on the bike instructing the owner to contact the police about the damages.
