Bill Burns, regional president of U.S. Bank in Avon, retires next week
AVON — U.S. Bank will be honoring Bill Burns, U.S. Bank regional president, for his many years of professional service, accomplishments and achievements. Burns is retiring after 46 years in banking and has served as the regional president at U.S. Bank for the past 10 years.
“Bill’s calm demeanor in the face of a chaotic world has been a trademark quality,” said Wayne Hirsch, U.S. Bank Mountain States Division manager. “He will be missed by all, but will have an extended family behind him every day, and we wish him the very best in his new chapter in life.”
Burns has been actively involved in the Vail Valley with numerous organizations including the Bravo! Vail Music Festival, Vail Valley Medical Center and Habitat for Humanity, to name a few. Burns officially retires Aug. 2.
