Bit of snow in Vail’s forecast

VAIL – Rain, snow and colder temperatures are back in the forecast for tonight and later in the week. There is a 40 percent change of snow tonight and snow is likely tomorrow, with accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible and a high near 41, the National Weather Service says. Another 1 to 2 inches of snow could fall Tuesday night and snow could continue into Wednesday, when the day-time high with only reach the upper 30s, the Weather Service says. There is a chance of “moderate amounts of” rain and snow on Friday and Saturday, the Weather Service says. Vail and Beaver Creek mountains are both reporting 10 inches of snow in the last seven days.
