Bit of snow in Vail’s forecast

VAIL, Colorado – There is a chance of snow every day this week, though snow totals will be in inches rather than feet, says the National Weather Service.

There is a 20 percent chance of snow Tuesday afternoon that increase to a 50 percent chance Tuesday night, when about an inch is possible the Weather Service says.

Another 2 inches could fall in Vail Wednesday.

On Thursday there is a 30 percent chance of snow and on New Year’s Day, a “chance of snow,” the Weather Service says.

Daytime temperatures will be in the mid to high 20s throughout the week, the Weather Service says.
