Lakewood-based 1stBank Holding Co. reported net income of $47,697,000 for the first six months ending June 30, according to John A. Ikard, president of the holding company. Net income represents a return on average assets of 1.2 percent and return on average shareholders equity of 17.3 percent. Earnings per share for the first six months were $361.56. Ikard reported that holding company assets were $8,315,798 as of June 30 and deposits were $7,463,203, up 9 percent and 8 percent respectively from the previous year. Loans were at $3,069,752,000, up 22 percent from the same period last year.As of June 30, 1stBank of Silverthorne had total assets of $176.0 million, and 1stBank of Breckenridge had total assets of $154.6 million. 1stBank has an additional Summit County office in Frisco. 1stBank of Vail reported total assets of $311.5 million on June 30. 1stBank of Avon reported total assets of $377.5 million. 1stBank has eight locations in Eagle County, including Vail, Avon, West Vail, Lionshead, Minturn, Beaver Creek, Edwards and Eagle. 1stBank has 119 locations in Colorado and three in California.

The Community Associations Institutes Rocky Mountain Chapter announced recently that Katherine Grattan and K. Shedd Webster of Breckenridge earned their certified manager of community associations certification during the first half of 2007. That certification is granted by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers and signifies that a manager has passed the groups national exam and met the requirements for managing condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. For the third year in a row, the financial-services firm Edward Jones ranks highest in investor satisfaction with full service brokerage firms, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study.The study measures overall investor satisfaction with full-service investment firms based on six factors: financial adviser/broke, account setup/account offerings, investment performance, commissions and fees; account statements, and convenience.The J.D.
