Lakewood-based FirstBank Holding Company reported net income of $23,648,000 for the first quarter ended March 31, according to John A. Ikard, president of the holding company.Net income represents a return on average assets of 1.22 percent and return on average shareholders equity of 17.3 percent. Earnings per share for the first quarter were $178.66. Ikard reported that holding company assets were $8.2 billion as of March 31, and deposits were $7.4 billion, both up 8 percent respectively from the previous year. Loans were at $2.9 billion, up 25 percent from the same period last year.On March 31, FirstBank of Silverthorne had total assets of $171.7 million, and FirstBank of Breckenridge had total assets of $150.4 million. FirstBank has an additional Summit County office in Frisco and 118 locations in Colorado, making it the largest locally owned banking organization in Colorado. It serves more than 600,000 customers. Management and employees own a majority of its stock.
