Business Name: Specialized Solutions.Date Opened: May, 2004.Owner: Clay Ireton.Contact information: 471-0506, e-mail specializedsolutions@juno.com.What services do you provide? I am the local dealer in Eagle County for a unique product called WaterCop. WaterCop is a water-leak detection and shut-off system that can detect a water leak or low temperature in your home and shut off the water. What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? I am the oldest and most experienced Dealer of the WaterCop System in Eagle County. WaterCop is my only business. Water-leak problems dont just happen Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. If you have an emergency or just have questions, you can talk to me, not an answering machine. What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Personal commitment to follow-up and service after the installation.Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I have owned other service-related businesses before where customer satisfaction was essential. My background has always been in sales, most recently in the home-construction industry. I grew up and was educated in Arizona. What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? I received a frantic call early one Sunday morning that they had a house full of guests and no water. Upon arrival I discovered an overflowing toilet. They had a plunger but were not sure how it worked; there was no instruction manual!
