Commercial storefront and insulated window replacement is also part of our services. We have unique art glass as well as a variety of decorative cabinet glass, antique and traditional mirrors. Highlands Glass & Shower recently received the 2008 Summit Award from the Colorado Glazing Contractors Association for the glass work at The Crystal Peak Lodge in Breckenridge. The work included frameless shower enclosures for 26 residential units, a glass curtain wall and glass railings in the lobby. The CGCA was founded in 1993 to promote the improved education and quality of the glass industry. The Summit Award was a special tribute acknowledging a project that required an extraordinary effort to complete.What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Our frameless shower enclosures are truly frameless. We dont use u-channel or silicone seals to wrap our European-style enclosures. We dont cut corners! John designs every glass enclosure with meticulous attention to detail making sure the enclosure is not only pleasing to the eye but functional. We listen to what our customers want, recommend what is best and deliver a quality product.We get it right the first time! We recently had a client who wanted a particular look a window wall for her contemporary home. We designed a curtain wall system utilizing a product our supplier suggested. Our customer says the window wall and the view it allows takes your breath away.Tell us a little about your background and experience: Owner John Warnock has more than 30 years glazing experience. He started out building greenhouses and working on conservatories for estates and universities including DuPont, Doris Duke, Humboldt State and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He opened his first glass company, Grizzly Glass, back in 1984 and has been serving the valleys glass needs ever since.
