What goods or services do you provide? We do body alignments for skiers and anyone desiring better health. This includes skeletal alignments, muscular balancing and acupressure or acupuncture to achieve corrections where needed. This approach is designed to assist not just areas in the spine, but shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, wrists and ankles. Deeper organ or “dis-ease” processes will often show improvement as well, as the body is connected to itself everywhere.
What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? I don’t believe in competition. I feel that each person somehow knows who they can go to for help, and that somehow the practitioner and client will meet to address that need.
What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Clients are the healers in this equation. I set the process in motion, and once they re-connect with the innate intelligence given to them at birth, the correction begins. The genius within them is something that is able to heal any condition.
I work with a detailed health history and can interpret symptoms in a very specific way. I correlate this information to where their body is showing stress and restore balance to those areas.
Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I became a chiropractor after one saved my life, literally, from very challenging times in my mid 20s. I graduated from Life University in 1996 and have practiced in Colorado ever since. I love the skiing and outdoor activities here, and of course the fantastic people!
I have recently added acupuncture to my services. Not only has it had a profound effect on my health, but I like to share the good things in life with others as I discover them.
What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? One day, while wearing new shoes, I slipped and landed right on top of a gentlemen while adjusting his low back. We both got a giggle out of that one.
