What goods or services do you provide? Megaspace Warehouses provides large storage units, or individual warehouse condominiums, for home and business owners in the valley. The units are located near the Eagle County Regional Airport in Gypsum. These units, for purchase or lease, offer a garage away from your home or business to protect inventory, investments, toys or collections in a secure private environment. Owners of these 1,000- to 1,500-square-foot units use the space not only for business and recreational storage but also as an affordable real estate investment.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Each Megaspace warehouse condominium has 16-foot ceilings, 14-foot overhead doors, flexible unit size and wide drive aisles. Each unit is individually metered with temperature control and electrical service.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Clients like the 24-hour access, seven days a week. A few of the units also offer sinks and bathrooms.

Megaspace buyers and leasers are not only storing construction equipment and excess retail inventory, but are finding new applications for the units. Distributors are using units to store products that they can move easily around the Rocky Mountain region.

Others are seeing a less costly opportunity to open small businesses by setting up an office space, a bicycle repair center, art studio, or batting cages.

Homeowners are finding additional uses for the Megaspace units. There is a trend for home owners looking for a convenient place to store cars, RVs and recreational outdoor equipment, but also wanting to spend time in the units away from home.

A potential owner said, “it’s very convenient as a storage space for my cars and gear that I have over-crowded in my home garage, as well as a place that I can deck-out in my style so that I can work on my car and tune my equipment in comfort.”
