Martinis are in fashion, and fruit is in season. Put ’em together and it’s summer cocktail time. Owner TJ Armstrong was one of the founders of the Taste of Vail wine-and-food festival. His wine list reflects his penchant for the grape, since he describes wine as “the perfect condiment.”
Add grilled chicken to the Asian salad and make a meal of it. The sweet sesame dressing is light and delicious. A menu standard is the caprese salad with thick slices of tomato, mozzarella and roasted portobellos, drizzled with a balsamic syrup. The chile rellenos have a healthy kick, and are available all day long.
The service at Blu’s is especially speedy.
