B’nai Vail holds mountaintop service

VAIL, Colorado – B’nai Vail Congregation is holding its annual mountaintop service on the top of Vail Mountain on Saturday for new and future members of the congregation.
Services will be led by Rabbi Debra Rappaport and Cantorial Soloist Maxine Graboyes. Participants are asked to meet at the Lionshead gondola at 9:30 a.m. for the trip to the wedding deck at Eagles Nest. The event is free and open to the public.
The service will be held at the wedding deck and will start promptly at 10:30 a.m. A Kiddush lunch underwritten by Myrna and Donald Sigman will immediately follow the service at Eagle’s Nest.
B’nai Vail is a Jewish community led by Rabbi Debra Rappaport and includes over 200 member households. It offers yearround opportunities for Jewish learning, spiritual development, meaningful Shabbat, holiday services, mutual support and social activities. This year’s religious school program included 63 children, with seven b’nai mitzvah this summer. Locals, part-time residents and visitors are welcomed.
