SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado – Searchers looking for a missing Silverthorne mother of three found the body of a woman in the Blue River just after noon today.

Officials have not confirmed the body is that of Stephanie Roller, 41, who was last seen by her husband at their home late Monday night.

Earlier, Lance Clem, spokesman for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, said a CBI agent was being sent to an “active crime scene” near Roller’s home.

Ryan Hyland, spokesman for the city of Silverthorne, said that Police Chief Mark Hanschmidt refused to answer questions at a 3 p.m. news conference about the condition of the body or what may have transpired where the body was found.

Hyland said Hanschmidt asked the CBI for help with the investigation.
