Bone found by dog may be missing Colo. man
PUEBLO, Colorado ” Pueblo investigators say a human skeleton discovered by a pet dog may be the remains of a 45-year-old man who has been missing since 2001.
Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor said Monday that a driver’s license and other identification indicate the man might be Mark Kaskel.
Taylor says investigators are awaiting positive identification from DNA tests and other procedures.
Searchers found the body under a trailer home on Friday, a week after the dog returned home with a human jawbone.
Deputies arrested 47-year-old Charles Gross for investigation of second-degree murder. Deputies say Gross told them he shot a man in self-defense.
Gross was jailed under $500,000 bail.
