Boulder: American Indian sweat lodge vandalized
BOULDER, Colorado ” Boulder officials say an American Indian sweat lodge has been vandalized on Valmont Butte.
Boulder facilities and fleet manager Bill Boyes says it appears someone broke into the lodge, which is considered sacred by American Indians.
The city of Boulder owns the site, which American Indians use for prayer ceremonies.
Boulder County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the reported break-in.
