Boulder dog taped to fridge renamed Yoshi
BOULDER, Colorado ” A 2-year-old shiba inu that was taped upside down to a refrigerator during a domestic dispute has been renamed Yoshi and adopted by another family.
Yoshi, which means good luck in Japanese, was placed with the Boulder Valley Humane Society after police discovered the dog April 14. He was recently adopted by a couple who owns two other shiba inus, society officials told KMGH-TV Sunday.
Twenty-year-old Abby Toll is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals and drug possession. Police say she used packing tape to bind her boyfriend’s dog’s legs, snout and tail, before sticking him to the side of the refrigerator.
Police say Toll told them she taped the animal because she was mad at her boyfriend for refusing to get rid of the dog.
