Boulder police arrest suspected intruder

BOULDER, Colorado ” Police in Boulder have arrested a 30-year-old resident accused of breaking into a woman’s apartment and standing over her with his pants down as she slept.

Police suspect Matthew Grabowski entered the apartment through an unlocked door or window.

The woman told police she woke up around 2 a.m. Sunday after the suspect touched her leg.

She described the suspect as intoxicated and said he called her Jenny. He ran after she told him no one named Jenny lived there.

Police say officers arrested Grabowski a short time later and found a pair of the victim’s underwear and a bra in his pocket.

Grabowski was booked into jail on charges of second-degree burglary and attempted sexual assault.
