Bravo! celebrates 21 years of Vail Valley Music Festival
VAIL, Colorado The Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festivals 21st annual gala, entitled Cirque Du Bravo! is Saturday, July 18. The dinner, dance and auction take place following the opening night of the New York Philharmonic. The gala takes place at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa and features Cirque Du Soleil veteran Stefan Haves and his troupe, who will invoke the imagination and provoke the senses.In addition to food, drink and circus magic, a live and silent auction will take place. The auction items include a golf and wine package for six at the private Mayacama Golf Club in Sonoma County and four nights in a luxury four bedroom casita in Villa Del Mar, Los Cabos, Mexico. If youve always wanted to entertain in your home but dont want to cook, you can bid on hosting a dinner party for eight in your home and let Spago Executive Chef Mark Ferguson prepare dinner.The most popular auction item is back, the opportunity to conduct the world renowned New York Philharmonic at a 2009 festival concert. The newest item for the 2008 auction is a Bluthner Grand Piano. This 6-foot-3-inch Jubilee Edition will be signed by Festival pianists including Lang Lang, Olga Kern, Yefim Bronfman, Orion Weiss and Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Three levels of tickets are available for the event. Tickets at the Benefactor and Friend of the Gala level will receive tickets to the opening night performance of the New York Philharmonic, which is currently sold out to the public. Other benefits include a special pre-concert cocktail party in the Borgen Plaza at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, special parking and VIP transportation to and from the gala and amphitheater.
