Bravo! musicians perform at Vail Valley libraries

VAIL VALLEY, Colorado -Throughout the month of July, musicians from the Bravo! The Vail Valley Music Festival will visit children at the libraries in Avon, Eagle and Gypsum.

The musicians’ performances will introduce children ages three to seven to music and instruments. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Bravo! at 970-827-5700.

• Today, 1 p.m., Avon library: Orion Weiss, piano

• July 8, 1 p.m., Eagle library: Rossetti String Quartet

• July 15, 1 p.m., Gypsum library: Vuillaume String Quartet, Curtis Institute of Music

• July 16, 1 p.m., Avon: Vuillaume String Quartet, Curtis Institute of Music

• July 29, 1 p.m., Eagle: Peter Lloyd, double bass, Peter Kolkay, bassoon

• July 29, 1 p.m., Gypsum: Anthea Kreston, viola , and Jason Duckles, cello

• July 30, 1 p.m., Avon: Members of the New York Philharmonic, featuring music by Eagle County’s Very Young Composers
