Bravo! patrons ski the Beav’
“It’s a way to thank our donors in the winter,” said Barbara Treat, who hosts the event along with her husband, Sandy, and Jim and Cookie Flaum. “It’s a fun event and a great opportunity to tell our donors of the upcoming summer.”
All the guests support Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, either through corporate or individual donations. The group meets at the Beaver Creek Tavern, then, after a morning of cruising the Beav’, they join together for lunch at Spruce Saddle.
Last summer was the first year the distinguished New York Philharmonic performed at Ford Amphitheater. Their presence, along with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, created one of the most memorable summers in Vail history. The annual gala is also a highlight of the festival.
“Our gala this year,” explained Cookie Flaum “is the same night as the New York Philharmonic opening night. We have many tables sold already for the event, which will be at the Lodge at Vail.”
Organizing the gala along with Cookie are Dhuanne and Doug Tansill and Paul and Jayne Becker.
