Bravo! Ski Day
The annual “Bravo! Patron’s Ski Day” was held last week on a beautiful, sunny day. More than 100 Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival supporters showed up at Larkspur at Golden Peak for breakfast. After a few hours on the slopes, the group reconvened for a fabulous lunch, which included Larkspur’s famous hamburgers.
The day was underwritten by Liz Keay, Jim and Cookie Flaum, Doug and Dhuanne Tansill and Steve and Carolyn Pope.
“Bravo’s patrons are the life-blood of the festival,” said Jason Denhart, events director. “This fun-filled day of skiing is a great way to honor their contributions to music and to the performing arts in Vail.”
Tickets are on sale now for the world-renowned classical music festival. The season kicks off June 25 with trumpeter Byron Stripling (who received multiple ovations last year) and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra. The Rochester Philharmonic takes residence on June 27.
