Bravo! Soiree series tickets on sale now
VAIL CO, Colorado
VAIL – Tickets to Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival’s Soiree series –summer evenings filled with wine, food and intimate music – are now on sale.
The Linda and Mitch Hart Soiree Series takes place at private homes throughout the Vail Valley and include a concert with world-class soloists, passed appetizers, cocktails, wine and a three-course dinner from local restaurants and catering companies. Tickets are now available for all four of the Soiree concerts.
“Soirees are excellent opportunities to connect with the musicians in an intimate setting,” said Caitlin Murray, Bravo’s development and events manager. “Bravo is so fortunate to have patrons who graciously open their homes to host these magical evenings.”
The first Soiree is July 10 at the Schultz residence in Mountain Star. The program, “Gypsy Affair,” includes works by Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff with works for piano, viola and vocals. Soloists for the evening are soprano Susanna Philips, violist Paul Neubauer and pianist Anne-Marie McDermott.
“Whether Irish, German, Russian or pure Gypsy, the music will warm hearts,” said Bravo’s artistic administrator Jacqueline Taylor.
On July 17, “Pianistic Variations,” the second Soiree of the summer, takes place at the Smith residence in Arrowhead. Bravo’s artistic director and pianist Anne-Marie McDermott will perform works by Brahms and Mendelssohn.
“A romantic evening of songs will keep guests entertained,” said Taylor.
“Fiery Ivories” is on July 24 at the Walton residence in Arrowhead. Grammy-Award winner Yefim Bronfman and Anne-Marie McDermott will treat guests to Mozart’s Sonata in D for Piano Four Hands. Yefim Bronfman is widely regarded as one of the most talented virtuoso pianists performing today. In addition to the Mozart piece he will entertain guests with solo piano works.
The final Soiree of Bravo’s 25th anniversary season, “Stunning Strings,” is July 30 at the Welsh residence in Vail. Musicians include the Calder String Quartet, violinist Ida Kavafian (Bravo’s founding artistic director) and violist Steven Tenenbom. The program includes Mozart’s Duo in B-flat for Violin and Viola and Mendelssohn’s Quintet for Strings.
All Soirees begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and passed appetizers. The concerts begin at 6:45 p.m. and dinner immediately follows.
“Soirees are some of the most unique and intimate concerts of the season,” said Taylor.
Soiree tickets, which are $200 each, can be purchased by phone or email only. Call 970-827-4305 or email email@example.com.
