Breckenridge Ski Resort opens today

Breckenridge Ski Resort kicks off its season today with two lifts and 108 acres of terrain on four runs as well as the upper Park Lane triple jump line.
Free pancakes and waffles will be available on the Bergenhof deck starting at 8:30 a.m., and first chair starts turning at 9.
Parking is free through Sunday at the North and South Gondola lots and the Beaver Run Lot.
Carpoolers with four or more passengers this weekend can enter to win four Club Level seats to a Denver Nuggets or Colorado Avalanche game – or Breckenridge Ski School Adventure Sessions for up to four people, according to news.brecken ridge.vailresorts.com.
Starting this season, parking in the Gondola lots will be $5 Monday through Thursday and $10 Friday through Sunday and on holidays. The Beaver Run Lot will be $15, according to news.brecken ridge.vailresorts.com.

Carpoolers with four or more passengers can park in the Gondola lots for free Monday through Thursday this winter and pay $5 Friday through Sunday and holidays. The Beaver Run Lot will be $10.
Parking passes will be available this winter for $149 all season or $60 and $35 for 10- and 5-pack passes. These are to be available at the season ticket offices.
