Brenner for state Senate

Ken Brenner has lived in his district for 50 years and has served in local government for 10 of those years. I am proud to support him is his run for State Senate in District 8. As Basalt Town Council member, I have seen Ken strongly and consistently represent the Western Slope and Colorado’s interests by fighting to protect our water, working to preserve the Roan Plateau, and energetically pursuing renewable energy projects, comprehensive health care and progressive education ideas, including Gov. Ritter’s education initiative.

Ken is willing to work harder than anyone else to ensure the best outcomes for us; he does exactly what says he will do; he thinks out of the box; he courageously works for change despite the odds or partisan pressures; and he is exactly what we need right now in Colorado.
