AVON, Colorado – American Beauty, featuring Rob Eaton of Dark Star Orchestra, will perform at Agave in Avon Thursday.

American Beauty builds upon its previous notoriety as Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue with new additions on drums and keyboards, Andy Sweetser and Stef Briggs respectively. The other three veterans of the previous band include Eaton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Dave Kochmann on lead guitar and vocals and Jim Allard on bass and vocals.

The band is building its reputation largely by focusing primarily on the ’70s era of Grateful Dead music, which is generally regarded by fans as their “Golden Era.”

Day-of-show tickets are $10. Show-time is 10 p.m. and +21. Call 970-748-8666 to learn more.
