OK, you’re 30: What have you done (college, job, kids etc.), where do you live and what do you do? My days begin with Tai Chi, and then I sit and drink my white tea, watching things come to life. During the day I take walks with my friends and draw, as it has always been my passion. The nights I spend playing my guitar at different bars, wondering if I’ll ever get a record deal, knowing it’s highly unlikely. The money I make from my art and the singing keeps me going enough to be classified as one of those “starving artists.” But that’s just fine by me. It really couldn’t get better.
Best high school memory: Dance party with Jonathan, Andy and Emily, or maybe when Courtney passed out in A.P. art after she gave blood.
Favorite teacher and why: Mrs. Franklin is quite a character. Over the past two years that I have had her as a teacher, we have formed a relationship that I would consider a close friendship. She and I are so alike in many ways, especially in our quirkiness and other idiosyncrasies. I will miss her jokes that only I get, the gossip, and the big words like “infantile.” Thank you for making my high school experience wonderful.
