Just a quick note to say how much the Vail Cat crew is appreciated, according to Brian McCartney. Why do they head out each night to groom the slopes for the thousands of skiers that appreciate the groomed runs when the snow “smoothes out naturally” and becomes “gourmet carpet skiing”?
It seems to me that the Cat crew should be made redundant and let the slopes take care of themselves.
He obviously knows more about the mountain and its operations than most people, so who am I to question the vast knowledge and expertise of this highly paid executive of Vail Resorts?
Keep up the good work, Brian, and stop wasting Vail Resorts profits on the overpaid time wasters that are the Vail Cat crew.
