BEAVER CREEK – A man who allegedly stole a digital camera and three lenses from a Park Hyatt condo got caught in the act on video tape, and now the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify the man.The theft occurred Feb. 28 between 6:44 and 7:20 p.m. at the hotel in Beaver Creek, the Sheriff’s Office reported. The man entered the condo three times and stole the aforementioned items as well as camera and laptop computer bags.The condo resident realized after viewing the video that she had bumped into the man as she returned to her residence at 7:25 p.m, deputies said.Deputies said the man is a fair-skinned Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches, medium build with short dark brown or black hair. He was wearing a black-hooded coat, dark gray shirt and black pants.The suspect may have committed other thefts in the area, deputies said.Anyone with information is asked to call 328-7007. A reward up to $1,000 is being offered.Vail, Colorado
