The Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Avon recently announced the appointment of two key top executives, Robert Trotter as general manager and Kristen Pryor as the director of sales and marketing.Trotter brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the property, most recently at the JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek. Trotter has also managed properties including the Hotel Monaco in Denver and the Sheraton Tacoma in Tacoma, Wash.Pryor also joins the Westin Riverfront from the JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek, where she most recently served as the associate director of sales. Free area tourist map will be published in MarchJessica Grentner has set up a new business in the Vail Valley focused on helping visitors and locals navigate the area. She holds the local franchise for Resort Maps, a 30-year-old Vermont-based company. The Best of Eagle County map will be published in March.
